Balance between Work and Life

 

Earn to Live not Live to Earn

Now-a-days everyone is running behind time and the goal of most of them is to earn as much as they can. Remember, whatever we are earning is for living not living to earn. Everyone needs money to live but earning money shouldn't be our goal.

Its your choice to have your goal as money but ultimately you will loose your personal life. Lets understand the importance of work-life balance with a small story.

Once upon a time there was a king, who lived in a very big palace. Villagers respected the king very much. One of the villager wanted to know the secret of living, hence villager decided to meet King.

Villager went to king, and asked him "what is your secret of living?" King said " take this spoon filled with oil, keep it in your mouth and go around the palace, look at the beauty and come back without dropping the oil from the spoon."

Villager went around the palace, looking at the beautiful palace and ignoring the oil in the spoon and then the oil started falling and when he reached King, there was no oil left in the spoon.

King asked the villager, "where is the oil in the spoon?", villager said "i was busy in watching the palace and its beauty hence i couldn't concentrate on the oil in spoon".

King said to villager, "go again this time and see the palace but oil shouldn't drop from the spoon". Villager started going around and this time he was more attentive in balancing the spoon. Villager didn't drop the oil from spoon.

When the villager reached King, King asked the villager, "Did you see the palace?" and villager replied saying " i was busy in balancing the spoon in my mouth hence i couldn't see the palace beauty".

Now King said " When you learn to balance the oil in the spoon and watch the beauty around you then you will be successful like me".
